The IESG approved publication of Date and Time on the Internet: Timestamps as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement after receiving the text of an RFC Editor note from Ned. 4. The IESG approved publication of Guide to Internet Calendaring as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG deferred action on Middlebox Communication Architecture and framework pending a review of policy issues by Bert. 6. The IESG tentatively approved publication of Middlebox Communications (MIDCOM) Protocol Requirements as an Informational RFC. Steve to hold off announcing until draft-ietf-midcom-framework is approved. 7. The Secretariat is moving forward in arranging for the Fall 2002 IETF meeting to be held in Atlanta. This meeting will include an experiment as the agenda will have nothing scheduled on Friday. Additionally, looking into moving the Tuesday evening social event to enhance the Sunday evening Welcome Reception. 8. Once the IESG email list becomes a subscriber only list, there will be quite a number of requests to be examined and acted upon. Scott, Jeff, and Harald will be list administrators, along with the Secretariat. 9.
